Global consultancy McKinsey & Co has stated that ‘market research is at an inflection point’. There is no doubt that we can see technology is changing the way that people engage on a personal level. This change is also being experienced by many business owners as they grapple with rapidly evolving commercial conditions.
In 2012 Stable Research online conducted its inaugural Technology and Research Review. The aim of the research was to gather relevant information that will shape and refine future research methods. The paper uncovers some interesting and relevant statistics that provide an up to date insight into technology trends in general and how panel members are engaging.
The results indicate a definite shift in terms of smartphone ownership and online engagement. Our findings also signify that a greater understanding of how, when and where people access and engage with surveys will not only promote greater engagement it will also provide new and innovate opportunities that were not considered possible just a few years ago.
